Environmental Leadership

What's more, we partner with you to protect the environment by using manufacturing processes based on environmental stewardship. The containerboard we produce incorporates recovered paper and waste materials from other wood products, and 98 percent of the chemicals used in our pulp and paper mills are recycled and reused. We also invest in technology to protect air and water quality.

In addition, we improve our own environmental performance and that of our customers through our efforts at source reduction. By reducing the raw material needed, such as making high-performance paper that does the same job using less fiber, we extend the life of our resources.
