Graded from the worst face, this chop or rip first grade is ideal for cut-to-length panels for cabinets and casegoods. This narrow, sorted-to-width product yields clear two-face cuttings. Cut from the outside of the log, the boards may exhibit some wane. Other applications: cut stock, chair parts, edge-glued components or upholstery rails.
We grade after drying and surfacing, and against all natural drying or surfacing defects (pin knot no defect).
