4/4, 5/4
A sound structural grade designed for the upholstered and knock-down frame manufacturer. This grade will yield an assortment of long rails and shorter parts for both chair and sofa frames. 5/4 exhibits larger defects but maintains its structural integrity due to added thickness. Applications: furniture frames and fingerjoint blocks.
We grade after drying and surfacing, and against all natural drying or surfacing defects (pin knot no defect).
