This high end product includes all firsts, seconds, FAS1F and some select boards. Narrow select boards and select boards with certain defects are removed from the grade and appear in other Northwest Hardwoods’ proprietary grades. Superiors yield 83-1/3 percent clear face cuttings with minimum cutting sizes of 3" x 7' or 4" x 5'. Applications: cabinet and entry doors, casegoods, millwork.
We grade after drying and surfacing, and against all natural drying or surfacing defects (pin knot no defect).
