Mentoring Program
A mentor can make a significant difference in your career satisfaction and growth. At Weyerhaeuser, we encourage both informal and formal mentoring, and most members of our senior management team have an active mentoring relationship with at least one employee. Mentoring is not limited to minority or women employees but is open to anyone who wants to focus on his or her professional and personal growth.
Our formal mentoring programs include a number of options to fit many needs. One-on-one mentoring is the most common, but we also offer peer and team group mentoring, mentoring circles, training-based mentoring, and executive mentoring. The goal is for the employee to gain experience from the mentor's expertise, receive critical feedback, network with an influential employee, and have a supportive partner with whom to share experiences and successes.
