Recognition and Awards

The true rewards of our diversity work are seen in the faces and performance of our employees every day. We are also nationally recognized for our outstanding work. In 2006 we received these awards and honors plus many others.

• Weyerhaeuser strategies were featured at the Diversity Best Practices and Business Women's Network's National Event.
• Steve Rogel was among eight CEOs recognized for their work in leading diversity and featured in the book CEOs Who Get It: Diversity Leadership from the Heart and Soul.
• Effenus Henderson was named one of the top Chief Diversity Officers in the U.S.
• Weyerhaeuser made the top 10 list in Universum's 2006 ranking of the top 100 socially responsible companies.
• We received the national Ron Brown Award for Corporate Leadership for our efforts in the Hurricane Katrina disaster.
• We received the Frederick D. Patterson Award, named for the founder of the United Negro College Fund, in recognition of our support of the fund's activities.
