Abundant Forests Alliance

Some people think we're "running out of trees," but nothing could be further from the truth. Weyerhaeuser has been working with the Abundant Forests Alliance, a group dedicated to clearing up misconceptions about the forest products industry. According to the Abundant Forests Alliance:

• Our industry plants more than 1.7 million trees—every day!
• There are 10 million more acres of forests in the U.S. today than 15 years ago.
• The U.S. forest inventory has increased by 39 percent since 1952, despite nearly doubling our population!
