Higher Education Giving

Weyerhaeuser believes higher education is essential for continued development and growth of a strong economic and social base in Canada. Over the past several years, Weyerhaeuser has contributed more than $3 million to higher learning in Canada. The support is based in regions where Weyerhaeuser has a major presence and is usually related to science or forestry. Our goal is to support high-level, broad-thinking and sophisticated research that is complex and strategic. Weyerhaeuser's contributions can also help bring in additional funding from government or other corporations. Examples of our support include:
