Community Grants Program

For philanthropic grants for projects and programs, please complete our online Donation Application form.
For sponsorship of all community events, including activities of limited duration, please complete our online Sponsorship Application form.
Applications may be submitted at any time and will be acknowledged by an online confirmation of receipt. Applicants will usually receive a response within one to two months.
In British Columbia, we offer an annual sponsorship program with a closing date of November 1 for all requests for support of local events and activities taking place in operating communities throughout the following year. Applicants will receive a response in mid-December. Please complete the Sponsorship Application form for these requests. Please note that applications for events and activities taking place in the same year are not accepted.
Requests for philanthropic donations from organizations in British Columbia are accepted throughout the year. Applicants will usually receive a response within one to two months.

For all requests, please complete our online Sponsorship Application form.
Requests for corporate sponsorships are accepted throughout the year. However, please submit applications at least three months in advance of the event or activity and allow up to three months for a decision.

These awards are administered by the universities and colleges. For details on how to apply, please contact the Awards Offices at the institutions.

Applications are accepted once a year, with a closing date of April 1.
Organizations will receive a decision by mid-May.
The 2008 program is now closed. An application for the 2009 program will be available early next year.
