Employee Involvement

To grow is to cultivate. That's why we invest in our communities. When they grow stronger, we all benefit. Volunteers—whether employees, retirees, friends, or family members—are making our communities better places to work and live.

Weyerhaeuser encourages employees to volunteer in our communities and supports their volunteer efforts. In 2008, 2,335 Weyerhaeuser employees and retirees completed more than 248 projects and contributed nearly 17,668 volunteer hours through the Making WAVES volunteer program.
