Typical assignments

Interns work in the chips, pulping, recast, recovery, OCC and paper machine areas of the linerboard mills. Assignments include data collection and analysis, process modeling and simulation, process troubleshooting and control implementation.

Cellulose Fibers, White Paper and Packaging Manufacturing Associate Program
Program Description

The Cellulose Fibers, Paper and Packaging Associates program is designed to quickly develop technically competent manufacturing leaders for our business. The program currently includes approximately 25 Associates per year. Associates may be placed at any of the 20 U.S. primary mills for their initial 18 to 24 months. After successfully completing the Associate program, you can expect to be placed at one of our 20 primary U.S. mills. Your flexibility in being open to relocate is critical to your career development in this program.

Engineering Services Summer Intern Program
Program Facts

This program creates an opportunity to experience the entire capital project process. Our primary goals for this engineering internship are to identify high potential undergraduate engineering students and hire successful interns upon graduation as qualified entry-level engineers.

Typical assignments

This program creates an opportunity to experience the entire capital project process. The intern will work alongside some of the top engineers in the industry while gaining exposure to careers in design engineering, project engineering, and/or construction.
